Photo spots in Sorrento
Chiostro di San Francesco
It is a beautiful monastery going back to the 14th century. Take a picture with the unique columns: each one is different than the other. Today, it hosts concerts and other events.
Address: via di S. Francesco 12
The view from Piazza della Vittoria
You get one of the best views over Naples Bay from this charming square and park. It is above some of the beaches in Sorrento.
Address: 80067 Sorrento, Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy
Hotel Belleview Syrene
Stop and take a picture on the branch next to the entrance of this hotel, or book a table for dinner and watch the sunset from here.
And if you can afford it, stay the night!
Address: Via Marina Grande, 1, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy
The garden at the Grand Hotel la Favorita
We were walking toward Piazza della Vittoria when I saw this magical place. Colorful murals and lemon trees – the perfect combination for a fantastic shot on the Amalfi Coast.
Address: Via Torquato Tasso, 61, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy
The narrow streets and souvenir shops in the Old Town
Just by walking around the Old Town, you will find plenty of perfect photo spots.
On the one hand, there are many shops selling lemons, lemon juice, and lemon sorbet. On the other hand, there are the ceramics shops with colorful displays.
Capri Island
From Sorrento, you can easily take the ferry to Capri Island. Book your day trip here!
Capri is a beautiful island, but it can get super crowded. Many people go there for a day, so boats get packed. That’s why we recommend booking your ferry in advance.
Once you are there, here are the best photo spots on Capri Island.
The view from the Capri terminal and Spiaggia Marina Grande
We got a first glimpse of this paradise as we approached the island and its main harbor by boat.
Taking a picture here is a great idea – both from the terminal and from the Molo Principle.
Address: Molo Principale, 80076 Capri NA, Italy
Lo Zodiaco Restaurant
Before we left the island, we stopped for lunch at this charming restaurant. It is located right on the seafront and serves some of the best pizza we ever had.
Lemon trees surround the terrace, and the blue sea in the background is the perfect spot for a picture.
Address: Piazza Angelo Ferraro, 2/3, 80073 Capri NA, Italy
Piazzetta di Capri
The main square in Capri Town. Expect a very small piazza with several cafes and restaurants.
Address: Piazza Umberto I, 80076 Capri NA, Italy
Via Padre Serafino Cimmino
We discovered this street by chance, and I think the vegetable stand hidden in this tunnel is a unique photo spot.
Address: Via Padre Serafino Cimmino
Giardini di Augusto
The garden itself is small but beautiful. However, the reason why many people come here is the view you get over the famous Faraglioni di Capri.
Extra tip: If you don’t want to pay for the ticket to the gardens, visit the Certosa San Giacomo Capri next door.
Address: Via Matteotti, 2, 80076 Capri NA, Italy
Instagrammable places in Positano
Spiaggia di Positano Marina Grande
The main beach in Positano is also the main photo spot in the village and on the whole Amalfi Coast.
On the other hand, it is also one of the most crowded places. Thus, taking the perfect shot could be challenging.
The changing barracks are also Instagrammable, and the view from the alley in front is just perfect.
Rada Beach Bistro
Or better yet, the stairs that lead up to the restaurant. They offer the perfect view of the colorful hill in Positano.
Address: Localitร Grotte dell’Incanto, 51, 84017, Positano SA, Italy

Ceramics shops
They are at every step along the way, so you won’t find it difficult to get that perfect picture.

Casa e Bottega
A beautiful cafe and restaurant that serves fresh, healthy Italian food.
Address: Viale Pasitea, 100, 84017 Positano SA, Italy

Il Capitano Restaurant
I had lunch at this restaurant on my second visit to the Amalfi Coast. We loved the pizza, but the view took our breath away. A few years later, when we returned for the third time, we found this cool Instagram-worthy sign.
Address: Viale Pasitea, 119, 84017 Positano SA, Italy
Via Cristoforo Colombo
It is one of the most popular streets in Positano, mainly because you can admire the village from above.
Le Sirenuse Hotel and Franco’s Bar
Even if you don’t have the budget to spend the night at this hotel, you should at least see the sunset from Franco’s Bar.
Address: Via Cristoforo Colombo, 30, 84017 Positano SA, Italy
Palazzo Murat Hotel
Another luxury hotel with an impressive entrance and a beautiful garden.
Address: Via dei Mulini, 23, 84017 Positano SA, Italy
Amalfi Coast Instagram Spots: Vietri sul Mare
The southernmost town on the Amalfi Coast, Vietri sul Mare is a hidden gem. I love strolling on the streets of this colorful place. Moreover, it has a beautiful marina with a large beach.
On top of that, it is also home to many Instagram spots on the Amalfi Coast.
Vietri Beach
This is the largest beach on the Amalfi Coast, it is also one of the most picture-perfect locations. We spent one day at the beach, enjoyed a delicious lunch by the sea, and relaxed.
Address: 84019 Vietri sul Mare, Province of Salerno, Italy
Case Colorate
Or the colorful houses. They are located a few steps away from the beach and you won’t miss them as you go up toward the city center.
Address: Via Giuseppe Pellegrino, 39, 84019 Vietri sul Mare SA, Italy
Ceramic shops at the entrance of the town
The village is famous for its ceramics shops, and there are plenty small workshops. However, the ones across the street from the Parcheggio pubblico Piazza Matteotti have caught my attention.
As you walk on Corso Umberto, you will discover many workshops.
Address: Corso Umberto Iแต, 84019 Vietri sul Mare SA, Italy
The narrow streets of the Old Town
Just by strolling on these streets you will find plenty of photo occasions. The village is not too large, thus don’t worry about getting lost.
Piazza Amendola
Grab a delicious ice cream from Dolcefreddo and admire the view from Piazza Amendola. It is one of the best in town.
Address: Corso Umberto Iแต, 22, 84019 Vietri sul Mare SA, Italy
Ceramica Artistica Solimene Vincenzo
The building of this ceramic factory is unique and offers the perfect background for an Instagram worthy picture.

Villa Comunale Vietri sul Mare
The public parc of Vietri sul Mare is colorful and overlooks the city and the blue sea.

Other Amalfi Coast Instagram Spots
Fiordo di Furore
Plan your visit in the morning, because this area gets crowded and finding a parking space can be challenging.
Address: Via Marina di Praia, 84010 Furore SA, Italy
Sentiero dei Limoni
The Lemon Path links Maiori to Minori and is a scenic hike that offers some incredible views. Also, you will get to walk below lemon trees.
Amalfi main square
In front of the famous Cathedral of St Andrew Apostle in Amalfi you will find the main square. With its small shops, beautiful fountain and many terraces, here you will find plenty of picture opportunities.
Atrani
Atrani is one of the smallest towns on the Amalfi Coast. Although it is within walking distance to Amalfi, it has recently gained popularity because Ripley was shot here.
Cetara
10 minutes away from Vietri sul Mare, Cetara is a small and idilic village. We loved how authentic it is despite it being in such a popular destination.
Ravello
While it doesn’t have access to a beach, Ravello is perfectly set on top of the hill. All things considered, from its main square to the two famous villas (Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone), there are so many photo spots in Ravello.
