Black A- Frame: Sustainable Catskills Cabin
The coolest A-frame in New York if we were to believe the New York Post, located on a private road in the heart of the Catskills in Kerhonkson, surrounded by acres of woods.
By the look of it, you wouldn’t say this cabin dates to the 1960s.
However, this is the perfect cozy place to escape to from the huss and fuss of the city.
Capacity: 4 guests 2 bedrooms 2 beds 2 baths
Facilities: free parking, kitchen, fireplace, open floor plan

Casa Minnewaska
Recently renovated, a rustic hillside cabin located on the border of 22,000 acres of untouched wilderness, 5 minutes away to a supermarket and restaurants for when you don’t feel like cooking.
Be drawn here by the countless outside activities you could perform meters away from the house, such as climbing, fishing, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.
On the other hand, if you only want to chill and relax, the cozy inside will provide the perfect setting for that. Enjoy your coffee with a view on the terrace, spend the whole day in the hot tub, or with e good book in hand.

Facilities: kitchen with dishwasher, indoor fireplace, hot tub
Where: Kerhonkson, New York, United States
Catskills Cabin
This charming little cabin made the list mainly because of this hot tub with breathtaking views.
Located in the middle of 34 acres of wilderness, offering the possibility of countless hiking trails, but also the chance to relax with a book in hand in nature, or explore the small charming villages close by.
Worth knowing is that the cabin shares the hot tub and the chess area with the main house and the guests of the barn (where you can choose to stay when there’s no availability for the cabin). That means you will have to book in advance your use of the hot tub.

Hudson River Estate
Boasting an infinity pool and a SPA, incredibly stylish decor, an outside grill area, home theater, billiards, and a hot tub with a view, this is the place to be when you are looking for something special.
Guests have loved their stay here, appreciated the location, but also details such as the steam shower or the canoes.
It is a great option for groups of people since it offers so many activities.

The Catskill A-Frame
An open-plan cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, nestled up in the mountains, with lake views from the room.
Immersed in nature, with a stream running in the backyard, and set in the middle of a 1/4 acre of woods, it couldn’t get more remote than this.
They accept dogs on the property, and what caught my eye was the cute retro fireplace and the interior staircase.
Capacity: 6 guests 3 bedrooms 4 beds 1.5 baths
Facilities: kitchen, indoor fireplace, washer and dryer
Where: Hancock, New York, United States
Table on Ten
A lovely studio set on the hillside overlooking the Catskill Mountains, surrounded by 23 acres of nature. Its design is simple and stylish, airy, and light.
What I loved most about this property is the living room area with its wide floor-to-ceiling windows allowing in lots of sun and light, while giving you the feeling you are part of nature.
Worth knowing that the property can only be rented for a minimum of 5 nights, so this is the perfect place to run to when you want to work from home from the middle of nature.
Here you can also enjoy private yoga sessions, inside or in the forest during sunny days.
